The Experiential Library is an urban infill project, located in the center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It caters to the community hub of the area, which are white collar locals and migrant workers.

Being a social condenser between these two, the experiential library enables the users to explore each spaces through experiences, and which the experiences will eventually bring them together.
 

Having a muted and quiet facade is to contrast with the “loud” surrounding context. It is to spark the curiosity of pedestrians to explore the library. With the minimized embellishments and openings on the facade, it conceals most of the activities happening in the library, the interior will only be revealed when the person steps into the building.
